love letters

Hey y'all,
Here's what I've been working on the past few days. Love letter satchels for Q's kindergarten class. They are going to exchange their valentines next week and they get to keep all their letters from one another in this mail satchel. It's a big felt envelope (12x12 inches square) . I added a fabric triangle of heartsy fabric to keep all the letters securely inside :)

My biggest concern is that the boys in his class might think it's a "purse"???? but if you remember the old timey mail carriers and their mail messenger bags..... this is what it reminded me of...... I haven't yet attached the straps cuz I can't decide if I should make them backpacks or mail satchels.....
