My son started t-ball a few weeks back and they had a GREAT opening day ceremony - fire trucks- jumpie house - ICE CREAM!!
All the things little boys dream of.... other than making it big... guess what - My boy made the paper!! He was on page A3 - that's when you open the front page and see the third page...... He was right smack dab in the middle!!! SOOOO COOL (he could have been the classified section and I still would have thought it was AMAZING :)
Well super cool papa that he has...... tracked down the color version of the photo and sent it to us :) Thanks papa!!!

Congratulations, young t-ball player, to have your picture on page A3! I'm sure many people saved the picture for you. Be sure the grandparents get a copy.
ReplyDeleteAs a grandparent of an ex-tball player, I want to say that watching one of those games will keep you in stitches. When our team was in field, absolutely no one was paying the least bit of attention to the game. Bugs in the grass, sand to write in, airplanes overhead, etc. were all so much more interesting to those not in the waiting-to-bat area. Enjoy these days as they slip by so fast.
